@LynnGirlstuff ugh… I hate that! It's so annoying when food gets wasted, especially when there was apparently such a tiny window for use.
If my floor could just vacuum itself while I'm at Playgroup, that'd be rad.
@daedalus Yeah, I'm working on that. Specificity in particular seems to help with… a dude that I know… who will merrily play computer games while I work my arse off and not notice that I'm working my arse off and haven't had a second to scratch my bum. It's been hard on my relationship with that… dude that I know
@daedalus Yeah, this has been a problem too. I haven't really gotten the support I need to have much time for me. Without sounding like hyperbole, for a long time there was literally no time for me. It's only because the boy is becoming more independent and better at things like eating and sleeping that I'm getting a break.
@daedalus For a while there, it was so completely overwhelming that I felt I didn't have any time for friends or hobbies or even nice social media like Mastodon or the forum, and that I just existed purely to cook and clean and nurse and wipe a little tushie.
It's letting up a little but it's still extremely demanding. But at least sometimes I can draw again now.
@daedalus I've been able to chat a little more on here in recent months, but I am still… eh. Same with an old school forum I'm a part of.
Also very aware that early parenthood has been very hard and I have a lot of negative things to say… but I don't wanna be that way.
I dunno if I don't have much to say these days or I've just spent so long feeling vaguely threatened and unsafe that I've learned to shut the fuck up.

Colour corrections, cause I was drawing with the iOS equivalent to f.lux on and it made my colours weird.

@Xkeeper twiter: all dog pics come from an account that assigns them names and ratings, run by a marketing guy who admits to not actually liking dogs and basically wanting to just monetize other people's dog pics as much as possible
here: you can literally just post pics of your own dogs and actually get boosts/favs
I am undecided about this and I might look at it again in the morning. The idea was to make a new avatar, but I am not sure I like it better than the old one at this point.
