Two questions for the crowd ( to be precise):

1. Favorite terminal emulator and why that one?
2. AMD or Nvidia GPU for triple screens, one of which supports up to 144Hz?

Thanks for your input and boosts 😊

@Tobi I used st for a while (with the scrollback patch) because it's lightweight but tbh i just use gnome-terminal these days because a) it's the default b) it works ok and c) it supports tabs

in general I'm dissatisfied with all terminal emulators and want to write my own, but that's a story for another day

@Tobi I've used a lot of terminal emulators over the years, and I tend to just switch which is my main one over time.
Currently I'm using urxvt, because it's unicode compliant and relatively easy to customise.

I have no experience with triple screens, so I'm not going to give advice on that!

@Tobi urxvt because it's simple and has fallback font and extended unicode support, really

(usually netbsd instead of linux but still applicable)

@Tobi My GTX 1080 works fine on Ubuntu with triple screens one at 1440p/144hz. I can't personally speak for AMD but their recent cards should do fine.

@Tobi Actually I think AMD open sourced their linux drivers.

@dog Good to know, thanks!
Let's hope that also goes for their way cheaper models 😆
