Another rant about how useless Windows 10 is
Maybe I can build some kind of fix with a teensy or something? π€
Another rant about how useless Windows 10 is
I use a USB switch to switch keyboard and mouse between my two machines.
On Linux, keyboard and mouse are recognizes the INSTANT I switch. Same in the BIOS!
But on Windows 10 I get a popup saying a "New Device" was detected every couple of switches.
Then it takes 15-60 seconds for it to - apparently - install a driver? For a standard USB HID device? Then I get another popup saying it's "ready to use".
How do you foul this up? The BIOS does it better!?
Had to rephrase, sorry. I wrote this just after getting up and I wasn't happy with the lack of precision.
