So apparently uBlock Origin, with which I spent way too much time today, can be used to CHANGE a site's css.
And since I'm a bit paranoid about extensions, I decided to ditch Stylus and recreate @numimyon's colorful mastodon thing in UBO! And I added a rainbow TOOT! button!

Since his gone semi-viral, here's me selling out:
Why don't you follow me on twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/tobi_ai_bot
I (sometimes) play platformers or JRPGs (in the widest sense). I'm trying to get back into a regular schedule...
(I'm also considering switching to a different platform, one not owned by Bezos? Any ideas?)
Or just follow me here on mastodon, in case I need players for an online game (tabletop or video), or maybe I need to borrow something from you!
... do you have a drill?
birdsite, funny???
Just in case anyone else wants a more useable twitter: https://twitter.com/tobi_ai_bot/status/1034083847078649856
birdsite, funny???
It suggested, I take a close look at the rules to avoid such incidents in the future π€
(Tbf, I won't get automatic updates with that... but it's just eyecandy, I doubt the icon set will have a severe bug that requires an ergent update...)
*sighs*
"Just add our key to your list of trusted keys, download this file and execute as root" is the default installation method.
Way down the page they mention you could also just download a zip and extract it to your home folder.
Nothing executes, nothing needs root, it's actually less steps.
But sure call it "manual install"!
You know that feeling, when you get "homesick" for a place in a #videogame?
Being German, I should probably have a word for that π€
Homesick is "heimweh", literally "home ache", so...
"Spielweh"? "Spiel" = Game.
"Videoweh"?
...
Anyway, I really want to go to Rivet City, right now π
I totally get the privacy features of only allowing people on lists whom you follow, but I wish there was a way to have a "low priority follow"?
There's people where you don't want to miss a single toot, and there's people at whose toots you occasionally glance. But it you put those people on a list, they'll also show up in your home stream.
And putting the "important" people in a separate list is less than ideal because lists have rather bad UX right now...
