This morning, I eventually went back to refine the post some more after I realized I was accidentally mimicking the style of another writer whom I've been binge-reading articles from.

While I didn't plagiarize anything, it did feel different from the other stuff I wrote, thus I went back and tried to give my own spin on it.

It's great when I look at something I wrote two days after I wrote it and make it look nicer.

I'm even doing the old trick of "reading it out loud so it doesn't sound weird" which seems to work okay?

Today is Friday the 13th, time to play the soundtrack to the oft-maligned NES game.

A shame that all the videos of the OST on Youtube use like some really bad NSF rip where the percussion is way too loud.

One of my challenges lately is getting the motivation to write.

I keep thinking that I need to bang out 1,500 words in one go.

I really need to think smarter and write smaller pieces, even if they're not blog-worthy material or something.

Totally forgot I bought HOME's Odyssey album so now I'm listening to Resonance and reliving the days of 2014-era synthwave

I dreamt that The Critic came back and I had somehow written the show's first episode.

I've never written a screenplay so that probably would've been garbage, never mind the fact that The Critic was a great show because of the timing and would be bad today if it was revived.

The only holy grails of game show reruns remaining at this point for me would be Scrabble and The Price is Right.

Scrabble is hard because it's likely split between multiple companies (including Hasbro, who owns the board game).

The Price is Right... Honestly, who knows. I've heard stories varying from too much money to CBS not wanting "competition."

But both of those would be great.

Buzzr, the other (superior) game show channel here in the States, has announced they're gonna start airing the 1970s revival of Concentration later this month.

It hasn't been reran since their original broadcasts 45+ years ago.

It's *so weird* to see game shows long thought to never be reran again are now getting reran. It's mind-blowing.

I saw @mavica mention "Living in a Box" by Living in a Box and now it's been stuck in my head for the past hour or so

Been playing Strife: Veteran Edition and I'm now having vague nostalgia for the early-to-mid 2000s when I grabbed games from Home of the Underdogs.

That was an interesting time in a pre-digital distribution world.

I had cheesecake for the first time tonight.

It was alright.

A while back, I was casually thinking of a Lucario sona. A few friends encouraged me to make one.

So I messed around in an image editor in less than an hour and came up with this.

It's a start, at least.
