I wouldn't feel right trying to compare when there's so much I don't know, but all I'll say is I'm glad to be out of there. It's under the thumb of billionaires (one of whom just got the governorship, though at least it's not Bruce Rauner?) and a particularly toxic sect of the Dem party and is in a perpetual state of financial peril as a result. I can see greater Illinois becoming a neo-N hotbed before too long. :/
