a good operating system is one i forget is even there. this is what greeted me when i logged into my windows toy today: an invasive reminder that the os is there & that my own pc isn't mine.
@arielmt I pulled out a hard disk with a windows 7 install on it last night, an install that I had cloned over to an SSD and later upgraded to windows 10 before replacing it with Linux once more. I booted it and it started just fine, but, shortly after, a screen popped up, covered both my monitors, and yelled at me for still being on windows 7. A reminder that the OS is there and that install isn't mine.
