@ticky Computers small enough to sit *on* a desk & not *be* a desk in its own right, & affordable enough to be in someone's home, had just hit the market, & 2018 sounded as far off into the 21st Century as anything the Jetsons promised. Mystifying, very mystifying, but believable.

Google has no interest in creating decent services or preserving any kind of legacy, & Google+ is now evidence of both.
