Oh, and for good measure, I can't even buy a permit for the lot I normally park in, so I have to move the car to a lot that the permit I had to buy applies to. Gods, UTA is such a shitshow of a university.

Like, I know I should be using 2FA on everything, but I kinda don't wanna bother for my uni stuff, and I wasn't, even though it was an option for the past few months. But whether 2FA is good or not, *ALL THEIR FUCKIN' SYSTEMS SHOULD AT LEAST BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT, FOR FUCK'S SAKE*

I love when my uni decides to force 2FA on everyone, but does it in such an incoherent and clusterfucky way that I can't sign on to the parking permit website to assign my permit (mind you, digital permit done using an ALPR) to a different car and instead have to create a brand new visitor account and pay $40 to park here for the week I'll have the car

Welp, seems my car's fucked. Had the battery go completely flat while I was in target and had to get a ride home. Hopefully it ain't something too hard to fix. Got mom coming down to go get the battery replaced, then we're gonna go get the alternator checked in the morning.

If you're in the eastern half of the DFW area, watch out. They're saying the rotation's died down, but stay alert and keep an eye on the weather. Stay safe out there.

Shit, tornado warnings are scary! Just got out of hiding from the system that just passed over us here in Arlington and Yikes, was that scary, huddled in the tub glued to the local news on my phone, trying to half-assedly keep it charged from my laptop
