It is with great sadness I announce the death of my trusty Nexus 5X. She served me well these past 4 years, but I'm afraid she's not long for this world. It seems she's fallen to the same hardware issues many of her siblings have. I just spent the past half hour huddled in the freezer, desperately trying to pull data off, but I've gotten all I can and, despite the cold air, she's still freezing up and crashing. Hey, did you know you can just *get* naloxone? Yeah! In the US, you can just go into pharmacies in most (all?) states and ask for naloxone and get it. There's even a nice piece of paper to help you get NARCAN, a nasal spray version: https://www.narcan.com/static/NARCAN-Prescription-Aid.pdf

Naloxone is *really* useful to have around, especially if you or someone you care for have opioids, as it can reverse the effects of overdose long enough for EMTs to get on scene. Definitely worth having around, just in case.

Like, when I was walking home from getting my meds last week, I was trying to figure this out and the only thing I could figure is that no one mentioned it near him.

On the bright side, it does confirm my suspicions as to why he pushed (hydroxy)chloroquine so hard, but not remdesivir: no one's actually mentioned the latter near him, probably for fear of him assuming it's a cure too.

Airway patency is how open it is. A patent airway is fully open and unobstructed. As you might could guess, shoving a cock down a throat could compromise that.

Some more on what forgiveness isn't:
- Leniency. Consequences can still be had.
- Condoning or excusing behaviour. You can forgive someone for that which you condemn.
- Revenge or "letting god handle it". It is not hurting someone who's hurt you. (That's a different thing, that may or may not be justified.)
- "Giving it time". It's an active process.
- A quick fix. It takes time.
- Moving on. That's merely a part of it, not the entirety.

Forgive and forget is the most bullshit thing anyone has ever said. Forgive, for sure. But don't forget. To forget is to leave yourself open to the same wrongs you suffered in the first place. Forgive, but learn the lessons that need to be learned. Don't. just. forget.
