@daylight i mean i'm sad because my old computer hobby just got a lot more expensive but yeah

electronics horror (capacitor plague)

oh maybe this is the source of the problem

the fucking power supply has vented caps

local shark/dragon/snake is not sure what to make for dinner

maybe that thing of beef bourguignon?

annoying meme everyone is probably tired of

well, if pee really was stored in the balls, wouldn't I be peeing more often now that I don't have them anymore? ;P

@Saxxon also the interference is present even when the computer is switched off

it only goes away once it's unplugged

puu.sh/BliaY/c83b140fd5.wav this is what I mean btw (it's rather quiet, but still very audible in recordings from my old comp)

@BatElite oh just a really really good lewd post by someone i know

hell i'm considering recapping the entire motherboard since it was released right around when capacitor plague became a thing

it's just luckily been in mostly working order

i suppose I'll have to recap things eventually

20+ year old components are bound to get fucky after a while

a component of my old computer is *spewing* electromagnetic interference to the point there's quite a bad effect on the sound card

i have this midi

no idea what song it's supposed to be but it certainly sounds like it belongs in any number of different games

all i've really got is the filename, haybop.mid

you can't change which synthesizer is the default within windows anymore, so it has to be changed within whatever program you're using for your midis (which I know can be done in Winamp at least)
