re: starting a Linux distro argument probably
@madewokherd I'd say stay away from Debian and its children just cause of their use of ai coding. openbsd is very stable and easy to install f you are of the tech people. Fedora's ai contributions rules seem to still be up in the air but for now one of their spins is what I would recommend for a it just works Linux install for people who maybe are coming from windows. the rest I agree with and I think gentoo can be put in the tinkering section as well
re: starting a Linux distro argument probably
@madewokherd I can't seem to find the announcement that was put out last year and seem to find probably the same noncommittal conversations in forums that you did. idk what is up with it at this point.
re: starting a Linux distro argument probably
@budsofstone Got a link for more info on AI coding and debian? I tried searching but only found AI-related things and a non-committal stance from some months ago.
