Today in Labor History December 22, 2010: President Obama signed the repeal of the Don't ask, don't tell policy. The 17-year-old law banned LGBTQ people from serving openly in the U.S. military. Helps me feel less embarrassed or less like I'm making something up. Its been good for having more in depth convos

@mavica_again idk if you looking for shared experience here, but I waited for a really good mental health day, crossed my fingers and just blurted it out. To my closest person. And then it got easier with every new person. That first time was super scary. I've met other people who aren't singular now, makes you feel less alone. That first time felt like hell but it only lasted for a little bit and relieved a lot of stress.
