Protogen is such a hot gender, like how very based of you.

Don’t mistake your xenophobia for your concern for American labor rights. If you were truly into labor, you would work for the rights of all workers, including people who are not American or not yet American. Including H1Bs, and undocumented people alike

Roasting some fresh peanuts in the oven. House smells so good :blobcatmelt:

@notjustbikes Americans have the perfect combination of a massive superiority complex, and being completely braindead (worse, they don’t even realize the latter)

Their superiority complex is actively encouraged, and their stupidity celebrated

a new year's resolution for cis people: don't treat non-binary people as "women lite"

Idk who might need to hear this but I really could have benefited.
Getting medicated for your mental illness won't change who you are. It just makes it easier to live.

@tauon idk what board you have but alpine immediately comes to mind

@mavica_again interesting, seems like the main draw is to just have everything in one "place" so to speak

@intransitivelie for anyone who doesn't know someone who lived in Portland from 2020-2023 it was a warzone. The "protests" were just people walking around and it was turned into a war zone for 3 years. Gassing people in the street and their homes. Live gun fire, metal slug grenades shot directly at peoples heads. People dragged from their homes never to be seen again. People are still being prosecuted for "terrorism".

Americans aren't in the streets tearing it down because our fucking police are militarized and protest is treated like terrorism. #subtoot #Again #Repeatedly

I don't really get the appeal of "heavy" code editors like emacs, vscode and IDEs in general. What benefits are you really getting? genuinely I want to know.

Like micro, gedit, helix seem to have more than enough features even nano is workable. Maybe I just like things simple?

Imagine walking up to someone 15 years ago and going
:neocat: "Hey, in the future Google will just flat out make shit up sometimes"
:neofox: "What"
:neocat: "Yeah, like there will be a time where you can search for a movie that doesn't exist, and it'll show you trailers, articles discussing it, who's directing it, interviews from the actors, and all of it will just be completely fake and presented as real"
:neofox: "What the hell are you talking about"
:neocat_googly_woozy: "Yeah and it won't just be Google either, Microsoft and other big companies will be touting it as a revolution worth billions of dollars, as their products make shit up on the spot thousands of times a day"
:neofox: "Dude, are you high"
:neocat_googly_shocked: "Entire product lines will be rebranded around their lightning fast make-shit-up technology, and they'll even try to sell this making shit up as a creativity tool for writers and artists"
:neofox: "Get the fuck away from me, I'm calling the police"

The all-sky camera consists of a ZWO ASI178MC color camera with a 2.5mm F/1.2 fish-eye lens. A small Raspberry Pi computer operates the camera and sets the exposure time and camera gain based on the sky brightness. It also controls a dew heater and a fan to prevent condensation on the acrylic dome.
