you can draw a direct line from eugenicists still worshipped today like pearson and fisher through nazi scientists to the uncle who works at degussa
@jackie yeah it does, I have a lot of dark hair, I've tried shaving before didn't like it. I love my body hair and the queer community used too feel like a place for me but its feeling more exclusionary as of late.

@CoyoteTraveller oh cool.
I follow you, I think someone boosted a post of yours awhile ago and i like coyotes ¯\_ (ツ) _/¯
@bengesko there is this pressure, seeping in to conform to the yt cis beauty standards.
@bengesko yeah the judging other peoples bodies is a big no no\turn off for me. I totally understand the double standard thing. I've been fat and thin and I'm a little on the thicker side rn, androgynous my whole life. Sorta feels like you can't get it right no matter what you do. I am thinking of the pressure to *remove* body hair specifically. I think when it boils down to it I love gender and sex presentation fuckery of all kinds. It feels like maybe as a larger community we are losing that.

@CoyoteTraveller there is a market for everyone IMO. Older people can do sex work just as much as younger people. Why not try it you might be surprised how popular older queer people are

Anarchist Parenting
“Respecting children and educating them well was vitally important to the process of revolutionary change. Ignorance made people particularly vulnerable to oppression and suffering. More importantly, education prepared people for social life. Authoritarian schools (or families), based upon fear, prepared people to be submissive to an authoritarian government [or within a capitalist workplace]. Different schools and families would be necessary to prepare people to live in a society without domination.” [Free Women of Spain, p. 133]
