I plucked up an acorn,
thinking I would find a place to plant it on my walk.
Not beside the road.
Not in the mowed field by the cemetery.
Not in a stranger's lawn.
There's something about an errand to plant an oak that shows much of what troubles our world,
a place where a new tree is inconvenient.

@SordidAmok @tofugolem I'm not even American and I have views, mainly because Americans are desperately trying to export their system to my country. Not content with killing and bilking their own citizens, they want to replace a much better system and perpetrate violence against me.

I am glad he was killed.

I hope that the people responsible for the American healthcare system have equal and greater violence inflicted on them. May they all die so that the rest of us live better and healthier.

The economic argument against mass deportations bums me out. National borders should be destroyed even (or, especially) if it crashes the economy.
