@SordidAmok @tofugolem I'm not even American and I have views, mainly because Americans are desperately trying to export their system to my country. Not content with killing and bilking their own citizens, they want to replace a much better system and perpetrate violence against me.
I am glad he was killed.
I hope that the people responsible for the American healthcare system have equal and greater violence inflicted on them. May they all die so that the rest of us live better and healthier.

IF youre wondering why both houses of american oligarchy (trump and biden) are now scrambling to save tiktok its simple:
Banning tiktok now means there is a massive social media platform that reaches 150 nations and has ZERO US engagement. The US must project and evangelize hegemony and western capitalist values globally in order to maintain that hegemony. A contested airspace is still better than a denied environment.
Biden and trump both proposed a 90 day extension to "find a US buyer for tiktok" because the process was "obviously harder than we considered." This is a flat-out lie. The US blinked, and a major chinese corporation just successfully called the governments bluff. Tiktok not only wouldn't sell before, but is now almost certainly guaranteed to stand with greater confidence than before. I wouldn't be surprised if they canceled the Oracle contract and sent everything to huawei or alicloud because the US cannot do anything about it.
The 90 day extension is a stall tactic the whitehouse is using in order to buy time to figure out how to save face and walk away from this legislative shit sandwich the supreme court has affirmed they must eat.

In memory of Manuel "Tortuguita" Paez Terán, who was assassinated by Georgia State Patrol two years ago today. Tortuguita was a nonbinary Indigenous Venezuelan anarchist who relocated to the U.S. and lived in Tallahassee, FL, among other places, before living in the Weelaunee Forest just south of Atlanta where the city planned to build a $90 million police training compound. They were committed to seeing Cop City stopped, and they put their beliefs into practice.
