"You lured us to our doom!" the captain called.
"We're just singing," the sirens called back.
"To lure us!"
"No, for the love of singing."

I mean, I'm on 12 instances right now, so...if you want, yes! 😅
That's kind of just how I've always done things, though. My brain likes to split itself up into modes based on areas of interest and the people I find talking about them.
If you're not used to being all over the place like that, I could see it becoming a bit much.
I keep thinking I should make use of my vacation time to play some games, since I'm always too tired from work and it's been quite awhile.
But every game I would play just seems like so much energy. Every once in awhile I get a quick memory of a game I enjoyed playing and I'll think "oh yeah, lemme go do that."
But I go to open it up and just feel soooo tired. If it's making me tired before I start, I probably don't actually need to spend time on it.
Food
@KristianCollie Man I hate when I put things in my magical duplicator oven instead of the regular one.
@chaonaut_says (Pssst I actually kind of like the design style and the fact that they all look different in ways I might actually remember but Chaonaut's expression clearly said "oh no, right in the childhood!" so I'm just gonna shhhhh.)
Up and dressed and ready to go on my day off. Plan is to go downtown for comics and food.
I didn't plan for this amount of snow and it's hurting my motivation a little.
But still, comics! Food! I can do this.
And then home again to do some cleaning projects and maybe even decorate for winter holidays?
Yeah, this could be a pretty good day. Take that, cold weather!
If you can boost, that'd be great: I'm still looking for work (Can't seem to find anything and it's killing me) I do freelance work and I'm looking for a job that's tech-adjacent at least.
I am compent with SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, Python(mostly 3, but I can do 2.7) and UI/UX Design. Also good at research, and non-fiction writing
Freelance or Full-time or Part-time work is fine. Need something.
Lubuntu install went really well. Mostly. I wanted to get LibreOffice on here, but couldn't get it working on either computer. So after a few tries, I gave up and decided I didn't really need it. I've got AbiWord and Plume Creator, between those two I should be set.
Everything else is running smoothly and much faster than I'd thought this computer could run. So yay!
Might still try others for fun, but I think I've found my setup for now.
Really excited about my portable office here.
@Mycroft I don't understand that reference. XD
I have heard of Dwarf Fortress, but never played or even really looked into it.
@Mycroft Thanks! It's been awhile since I played with Linux. It's fun.
@silicon Thanks! I'll check that out too, then.
Linux adventures.
Decided I can't really afford a new laptop so I'm playing with new Linux installs on my 6+ year old netbook (and also my partner's even older but better one because I'm not sure mine can actually handle it).
Tried Kubuntu last night. Works pretty well on partner's, not at all on mine. Today is Lubuntu on mine. If that's both fast/workable and also can handle the programs I want, maybe try it on the better one too? We'll see.
@TonicBH Which one?
lgbtq, discourse, divisive
I often see it said that "A doesn't stand for Ally." Sometimes I even see it said "A never stood for Ally."
The second one is historical revisioning, and unnecessary to make your point that Ace/Aro people DO belong in queer spaces.
Here is a thread from 2003 on AVEN. Note: "The only problem is, A usually stands for Allies." It really did.
But Ally in this context never really meant Ally. It was a way for closeted queer folx to attend events.
They/them/their. Autistic ace enby. 32 years old. Writer, future humanist ministry person maybe, current pharmacy tech. I like squirrels.
I run booktoot.club and am on other instances under either zephasaurus_hex or chaognostica.
I also started sharing things my partner says at @chaonaut_says recently. It was mostly a joke at first but he started composing the toots with me so now I kind of think he likes it and I'm gonna keep it going.
