Can anyone help me resolve these seemingly contradictory statements in the IEEE spec for floats?

How many times do I have to roll a die to test wether its fair with reasonable confidence? (As a function of the number of sides.)

It me!

@noyovo@rage.love In my brief research for fn4—which used to just say "They're still overwhelmingly white"—I did find Balaibalan, Damin, and Eskayan, and they all seem super interesting, and honestly, much more *actually used* than any white conlang.

If you've got any other conlangs you love, feel free to let me know! I love reading about them :)

@noyovo@rage.love Yep, definitely!

I shied away from discussing the colonial dynamics going on with Láadan and Toki Pona, mostly 'cuz I'm not qualified to do anything more than to point out they might be there. Though maybe I should just do exacly that.

Would love to read a more in-depth critique on the colonial dynamics in these languages! As well as a post on conlangs by Black and other dark-skinned folks!

love getting my paper rejected based on a review by the author whose work I'm criticizing

Dora has figured out how buttons work. So far she has managed to heat the house, and print a document. I'm impressed and live in fear of her future exploits.

Does @ulyssesapp@twitter.com support citations via BibTeX? I'd rather not go via Word and EndNote/Bookends, and would much prefer to just use a BibTeX file.

Heya @pekkaroponen@twitter.com! In 2007, The Globe and Mail reported that you were studying the benefits of keeping a diary in Toki Pona. It's been over a decade since then, and I'd love to hear from you! Please DM me!
