It has long been my opinion that what first ruined
most (apart from being corporate-for-profit) was firstly when people started filling it with fully automated content and secondly when people started using lists instead of actually following those that they... followed.
Automated posts will near absolutely always result in less quality than if it is a person that e.g. reads an article and manually summarizes it.
I for example post a lot of stuff from some news agencies that has high quality and under-reported content, but are hrmmm... not primarily best at the English language. To then just auto-post those headlines without corrections, context and additions is just doing the actual content of the article a disservice.
Please consider prioritizing manual posts over automated (not saying MINE, just... in general).
