And I got a picture this time before I dumped it out the window. The markings look like a Giant House #Spider.

I got web all over myself in the process. Good thing I was going to take a shower anyway.

Also spotted on today's walk, a #spider of unusual size.

I had noticed the web the evening prior but saw nothing on it beyond thistle fluff and tiny dead insects. today the resident was present.

Again, if you can ID the species, I'd be chuffed to learn it!
