@cambrian_era Rich people is an oppressive class. They totally deserve to be cynically judged.
@cambrian_era I hardly think of "Oh, gee, you weren't aware the rich were bad?" as cynical and more like a fact. I honestly doubt rich people deserve the benefit of the doubt.
@cambrian_era Tbh most often the belief that rich people may not do harm given their power dynamics is kind of a privilege or some form of indoctrination.
@cambrian_era Not to say this sentiment isn't true, but like "rich people are bad" isn't exactly just a "suspicion"

@Pixley People do love to frame fascism nowadays as "radical change or violence" rather than specifically ethnic cleansing, privatization of industries and totalitarianism.
@IrisKalmia
I definitely did not reduce "spice" to that. I mean any type of flavor or smell that has not been thoroughly marketed to people as "American food"
@IrisKalmia
*whispers* "It's orientalism and racism."
@IrisKalmia
I mean US yts mostly doesn't use or know all that much about spice other than bland ass shit.
I don't mean this as a personal preference. Just this weird trope that comes into existence in white people media.
@shriekingmarxist didn't they demonstrate that the algorithm (or some similar algorithm) positively identified a bunch of algorithm researchers and nonexistent people as specific criminals?
@shriekingmarxist Oh wow. I thought society had learned about correlation and causation by now.
Just wait until the same algorithms are used to analyse the relationship between skin colour and income in the US. I wonder what discoveries they'll make?
@KitsuneAlicia @Tagza I think it is not that that is pointed out, but more the "Animal Farm" by George Orwell scenario
Which is specific to the 1917 Russian revolution and portraits authoritarian socialism, not anarcho communism.
