this thread will likely go a bit slowly,.
Workers are paid a wage for their job. but what even is this? when a worker is employed for a wage what is happening is the capitalist is buying the potentiality for that worker to do a thing, they are buying the skill, time and actions of a worker to do some task. the thing that they buy is the 'labour power' of the worker. and so from this we can see that workers have their potential labour power and sell this to the capitalist for money, a wage. this buying and selling shows us that the labour power of the worker is a thing sold on a market like beef, some gamer girl pee or a car, it is a commodity

Trans stuff (+++)
You know what I think is the best thing about being trans? You get to -create- yourself. You take the shitty hand that life has given you, throw it in the trash and rebuild yourself piece by fucking piece, pissing in the face of a world that would see you -crushed- for daring to exercise such control over your own destiny.
How fucking powerful is that?

pedophilia mention, homophobia
unpleasant person was arguing that the parents of Desmond Is Amazing are exploiting him by allowing him to perform drag, and was describing his performing in a gay bar as adult men sexualizing him
i love the not-subtle suggestions of gay men being pedophiles, and of drag being inherently sexual, and that 10-year-olds can't want to be in the spotlight.
