Meme Illustrating the Truth of Where TERF Ideology Lies

Basically, never trust a TERF who claims to be Left-Wing at best they are Neo-Liberal.

Here's a comic strip I found funny but can't share anywhere else because pearls would be clutched

wild that a country with 4% of the world's population but 22% of the world's prisoners has convinced people it's the Land of the Free

Bill Nye: maybe the mainstream view of gender is outdated. here’s a bit of scientific proof and a nice fun song

u/BrideOfChuckBartowski SIR, I grew up with your show. I will not allow my children to view the works of the Bastard Science Man.

Syndicalist types who are serious about implementing workplace democracy need to get over their aversion to finance and engage seriously with it as a practical discipline, not just as a rhetorical tackling dummy. Capital appropriates the whole product legally because it assumes the liabilities of production, and if workers want to appropriate the whole product we have to know how to assume those liabilities intelligently and have some notion of how to bend finance to a moral end.

@dankwraith In addition, Free Software is (and always will be) a necessary requirement for a Free digitally connected society. It's not the only requirement, but its a fundamental requirement.

@dankwraith The Open Source movement's goal was to make "Free Software", with a specific political goal, palatable for business. In doing so they sold the idea that people would spend their free time developing other people's commercial products.

Free Software has never claimed this. We fight for Freedom on the grounds of freedom.

tactics must shift with the times. "free software" was a valuable resistance against the commercialization of software as it existed at the time and produced many useful and valuable projects, but now it is simply used as a method of wage evasion for some of the most profitable entities that have ever existed in human history

Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" contains much that should be considered also outside war, even in such distant situations as debates.

Here's an anecdote and one of my conclusions from it, to accompany the quote-picture I just made:

Sun Tzu faced a much superior army, so made sure to place own army so the troops could only die in defeat or win, while the opponents could flee,
which made those troops fight not just because ordered, but for their lives and thus defeated the superior army.
That is Sun Tzu's "on death ground".

This can and should of course also be understood in reverse:
Always make sure your opponent has an obvious and attractive way out of the conflict,
preferably in the direction YOU want it to go.
If they see no way out, you have placed THEM "on death ground", giving them strength.

TERFs, Medium Article, Examining a Google Doc, Slurs and Genitalia Mention

Ignore the title, it's a Trans Women examining a TERF Google Doc claiming Trans People are Lesbophobic.
