I hardly think it is seen as an issue, especially for the downtrodden. That's why anarchism came to be, because peasants realize they would be so much better off without totalitarian states and lords. The institution and the state was never created for the people. It was merely rationalized and marketed as such.

I would do anything to be able to focus on my research without some bureaucratic requirement classes that I have to cram within my limited time budget. Modern education is forcing people into burning themselves out as soon as possible so they can harvested for the capitalistic machine.
