DnD and enbyphobia

Hm, though to give credit where credit is due, a dear friend of mine in our group did pick up using my pronouns recently and I have no doubt he'd be good with such a character too. But when everybody else and the DM are like ehhhhh, definitely not a good feeling lol. I'd hate if it came off as "ok I'm finally forcing you to use my pronouns" rather than "this is who this character is". Anyway shit sucks :/

DnD and enbyphobia

Hilarisad true story: I like playing dudes in RPGs, but I super wanna play an enby character, but I'm kind of too shy to bring in the backup ones I've created because basically everyone in my D&D group (all queer people and mostly gender interesting people even) has refused to deal with neopronouns. I did give everyone explicit permission to just call me they/them, but this one character especially is xe/xir and that's not something I'd want to change. Ah well.

Saw a woman with a shirt at work that said "tired of adulting, just wanna be scooby doo" and realized I will never write something that funny intentionally or unintentionally

ngl mardi gras is a part of my heritage and i love it and it’d be cool to bring it to the fediverse imo

sweaty anime nerd

@BestGirlGrace @amy this thread forced me to consult the fan wiki and fan wikis are a fuckin' trip.

sweaty anime nerd

@amy yeah, he's absolutely not supposed to be sympathetic, but recent events have turned him from "ha ha look at the lonely nerd" to "oh no, he's an incel"

sweaty anime nerd

@BestGirlGrace considering he's literally named sal manella I'm pretty sure he's meant to be unlikeable lol

re: pedo

@CyclopsCaveman also something about racism and anti-semitism but tbh i haven't heard any details about that and i really don't think it matters because we're already at the "welp fuck that guy entirely" point so
