In the end, what these common people want is freedom. But they'll never even get close to it until they realize that they need neither the State nor capitalism, and in essence, unjust, brutal hierarchies that were taken for granted.

Capitalism and the state goes hand-in-hand. The State can not actuate its political influence without private industries and capitalists can not protect their capital without a form of state-enforced violence.
Most of the places where it's called "socialist country" in the world right now is nothing but stages for state capitalists, a grand masquerade for state capitalists who call themselves communists to convince people that there's a thing called "state communism" ,and state capitalists who call themselves liberators to sell the idea of "free capitalism" and evoke red scare sentiment.
Ableism, racism, transphobia
The system is intrinsically ableist. The hand of the State is set to strike fear into its people(livestock). No such thing is a good cop:

socialization discourse reminder to avoid transmisia
@wolf corollary: some people simply were not "socialized" in the way being suggested at all. their experiences may not have included significant exposure to public society, as seems to be implied. perhaps they lived only with their family, effectively growing up in a bubble. perhaps they were "socialized" on the internet, anonymously, where gender is not known or even relevant (outside of assumptions). perhaps any number of things.
