I prefer chronological feeds to relevancy feeds.

Not everyone is me—and I get that.

But it is shocking how few services even offer chronological feeds anymore.

Wowww Zellij is exactly what I always wanted Tmux to be

I have so much vegan cheese in the fridge and its all mine MUHAHAHA unless someone comes over then they can have some

Personally, here's my problem with Google indexing my Fediverse posts:

1. Google doesn't sort chronologically, they sort by "relevancy"
2. Google can monetize my posts however they wish
3. Google can allow *someone else* to target an audience based on searching my username

Certainly, I can opt out of search.

However, that also introduces another array of problems namely: what happens when someone else scrapes my posts and indexes them on Google?

@b0rk ignore me I was having an issue where it looked like there were no replies lol

Want to tell you all a story, long toot in upcoming self reply...

@SteelWool I mean yes we obviously all play TTRPGs.. we have four GM's out of five of us. Gulp.

@b0rk huh interesting, is it possible that the new instance is defederated from several other instances resulting in followers not being able to follow? I'm still learning Mastodon so I don't claim this to for sure be the right answer

The first code I ever wrote was for an MSN plugin to lock it with a global hotkey
