Tired of your phone alarm going apeshit while you try frantically to silence it? Well I made you a ringtone! It's a simple song that begins with brief, discreet tones. There are long pauses at the start, so you have more time to turn it off calmly:

Back from a lovely week in Berlin! The bathroom scale is very unhappy with me now.

Oh my goodness I've just learned a thing about The Matrix that causes it to make a lot more sense: In the original script the humans were used as neural network compute clusters by the Machines and as a crucial component of The Matrix itself.
Which is why humans who were aware of the simulation could control aspects of The Matrix - their minds were part of its foundation.
Unfortunately the test audiences had trouble understanding this concept so the studio changed the human role to "batteries".
The hostess now actively prevents us from seeing the menu at our local Italian place. "They don't need menus, they get the same thing every time." (Okay yes we are a LITTLE predictable)
There are interaction designs with severe discoverability problems (tooltips, the clipboard) that were so useful that users overcame their drawbacks. Your new UX idea isn't one of those.

ugh my old job called to "get my advice", but it turned out to be another attempt to drag me back into the same tired old regulatory fights they've been chasing their tails about for four years. And now i can't sleep. >.>
tbh these days my standard for being impressed with a banking or e-commerce website is "Doesn't have Javascript bugs which actively corrupt basic address, phone, and credit card information as i'm trying to type"
