One twitter thing I miss on here is getting notifications when followers like my RTs. I like knowing when people vibe with the stupid shit I share. That's really all I have to contribute most of the time. Curating furry art and animal pictures and people talking shit about UK politics

@Rib yeah and nice to signal to the person rting it that you appreciate the thing too! makes the whole act feel pretty hollow on here tbh

@lion i thought i wouldn't miss that but i do. and i often think about that when i fave something that a mutual has boosted, that they won't know that i appreciate what they shared

A big part of my presence on social media is uplifting the art of others and I rarely add to those conversations. When I do post I post with restricted audience. so the vast majority of my content is curation, and not knowing how people are reacting to that curation makes me feel like I'm shouting into a void rather than creating a gallery for myself and my followers to enjoy…
