The Switch version seems to be the one to get, it includes the extra characters for Arcade Mode+ that are DLC in the PS4 and Steam version. Which are all very good. Homura is a baseball player who hits the bullets back at enemies. Tatsujin literally plays like Truxton. You know Clarice

I didn't actually mention which version I'm playing did I. it's Game Tengoku CruisinMix Special for Switch. There's so much good stuff in this. Like the characters commenting on the games they're from

Arrange mode of Classic mode (which I think is basically the Saturn version) has a load of cutscenes which so far are mostly just the characters doing bits with each other. And they're subtitled! Apparently this was hard to do!

I just found out there was kind of a bizarre development with this game, it was being updated/remade as Finnigan Fox for the Amico? And they got rid of the pixel art? Obviously it hasn't come out. There's a video of Tommy himself playing an earlier version youtube.com/watch?v=FNcX6wkCVM

Anyway I've played the first world so far and it's a pretty cool game! Good action platformer with a good fox in it. Can't go wrong with that

Oh Henk Nieborg worked on this, no wonder it looks good. That's a very Henk Nieborg looking frog

Decided to start a random unplayed game so I'm playing Fox n Forests. So far it lives up to both parts of the title

The emu box I mentioned is the A600GS which is ARM based & it seems to use their own frontend on top of AROS which is an open source reimplementation of the AmigaOS API and not connected to OS 4 which is closed source & based on the original Commodore code. AROS also has an Eric Schwartz mascot

I'm working in a co-working place today & they have a load of random coffee table books lying around that obviously no one ever reads
