ok well i needed to do 2 ubuntu LTS version upgrades. 20.04 to 22.04 and then to 24.04. 20.04 to 22.04 went perfectly fine, piece of piss, no problems. 22.04 to 24.04 it uninstalled apache for no reason so I had to figure that out and reinstall it but NOW it all seems to be working
By my calculations there aren't enough unique moons left in the painting-accessible worlds to get to 150 so I'm just going to go and deposit them. Like I could keep going with shop bought moons but that's no fun
alright it is finished...... everything is now running on up to date PHP and up to date everything else..... except the OS on the server which needs a major version update too π° but i will do that another time
ok https://fuji.12bit.club & https://museum.12bit.club are DONE... the semantic mediawiki extension broke on the latter so i took the opportunity to remove it since i was planning to do that anyway. its a big heavy ass extension that i was only really using for some simple reverse lookup stuff

okay well!! so far i have updated https://blog.12bit.club & it seems to work fine!! i have the different versions of php-fpm running side by side in docker containers so i can now just switch sites over one by one. but it is late so i will tackle the others later
