ok well i needed to do 2 ubuntu LTS version upgrades. 20.04 to 22.04 and then to 24.04. 20.04 to 22.04 went perfectly fine, piece of piss, no problems. 22.04 to 24.04 it uninstalled apache for no reason so I had to figure that out and reinstall it but NOW it all seems to be working

might fuck around and upgrade the OS on my server maybe

By my calculations there aren't enough unique moons left in the painting-accessible worlds to get to 150 so I'm just going to go and deposit them. Like I could keep going with shop bought moons but that's no fun

been playing mario odyssey in the post game just going around collecting moons & I decided at some point that I would see if I could max out the onscreen moon counter by just warping around through paintings and never going back to the odyssey. Well I got 142 and I still haven't maxed it out

alright it is finished...... everything is now running on up to date PHP and up to date everything else..... except the OS on the server which needs a major version update too 😰 but i will do that another time

okay well!! so far i have updated https://blog.12bit.club & it seems to work fine!! i have the different versions of php-fpm running side by side in docker containers so i can now just switch sites over one by one. but it is late so i will tackle the others later
