i have an old samsung laptop i currently use for similar things & was also thinking of installing linux on (it's currently stuck on win 10) but the surface seemed like it could be a nice replacement for it
and i mean it's not like i ever use the camera on the current one. but what if i WANTED to

i got hold of a surface laptop 2 for free at the end of last year & i was thinking of installing linux on it & using it for casual portable web browsing type things but because it's Weird Microsoft Hardware the camera doesn't work at all under linux & the touchscreen needs a custom kernel. hmm
