I'm guessing the lack of replies means this isn't standard and I'll never find something? So I made an adapter out of another adapter and a bit of pencil and some cardboard wrapped around it at the end and covered in tape. It is not very stable but it holds up for now
Extra context: the metal shaft doesn't unscrew from the tripod, but the black cap on the end does come off to reveal a standard kind of screw (which the light doesn't use). So I can easily use the shitty tripod with standard equipment, but I don't want to do that, I want to use the shitty light
Question?! I bought a cheap ring light which came with a tripod. The tripod has this shaft on the end which goes into a hole on the light and is secured with a screw. I want to mount the light to something that uses a standard tripod screw head instead. Is there an adapter I can buy to achieve this?
