Using mastodon on mobile is a terrible enough experience that it encourages me to get out of bed and switch to my computer
@00dani I'm using it in firefox on android on the site, and only being able to see one tab at a time is frustrating, and it takes so long to type on a phone keyboard that I can't even keep up with my home timeline
@lizardsquid hmm, yeah, it's not very columnar on mobile 🤔 pinafore deliberately uses a single-column design and mastalab only shows one at a time too, so. not much help there
maybe try subway tooter? its columns are rlly flexible and i think it lets you squeeze several onto the screen at once

@lizardsquid yeah that's fair, and there's not much any app can do to compensate for the slowness of a phone keyboard for instance

what kind of mobile? i use masto on android pretty smoothly, mostly thru the site's native pwa but sometimes thru pinafore or mastalab
