I need a coding project to work on...

give me suggestions?

(I can't/don't want to do webdev, and I'd prefer to have my own choice of programming language)

@lizardsquid I'm trying to get people to build RSS readers that support RFC5005. Want to do that? 😅

Actually a great start would be just a command-line thing that lists all the <link>s in a feed that's been split in multiple pages using RFC5005 section 4. Any common language should work.

I just launched a thing you could use to generate all the test data you could want: fh.minilop.net/

If this doesn't appeal to you, that's okay, but there you go, that's my suggestion. 😁

@jamey I'm not sure I want to do that thing specifically, but the idea of "implement something to it's specification" is a good one

@lizardsquid Did you know there's a whole stackexchange site for code golf?

@lizardsquid okay, just thought I'd give the suggestion in case it interested you!

@lizardsquid Reverse-engineer a save-file reader/editor for your game of choice.
