video games and video brains

Every time I feel like playing a game, I spend an hour looking through steam and gog and itch looking at all the games I could play, and don't end up playing anything....

how do I fix this???

video games and video brains

@efi I don't like being told what to do, though...

(and it's been yonks since I last played, so I've forgotten how my factory works)

@lizardsquid if you don't like being told what to why are you such a sub? >:3

video games and video brains

@lizardsquid pick at random? if I had more time I'd probably go through some sort of list of games
eg. all the cyberpunk ones recommended by Extra Credits in that video

video games and video brains

@grainloom the only problem with random is I have some really horrible games, which means I start being like "oh no, I don't want to play this", which then leads into generating more random games and then getting more picky and wishy washy

video games and video brains

@lizardsquid list them all and play the one you most feel like playing

video games and video brains

@a_breakin_glass that's what I end up spending 1hour+ trying to do, and then I don't know what I actually want anymore.

I think I have something like 350 games, and I go through them all considering them and never really settling for any of them.

@lizardsquid @a_breakin_glass you need a smaller list of things you want to play sooner than the rest
start dropping the ones you're not that interested in now
