@pup_hime
Something like Doctor Who, where there isn't an overarching storyline, can run forever, and I'm fine with it.
But a show where there *is* a storyline? That needs to stop, and I'd prefer it to stop as early as possible.
While I later found out the author is a jerk, one of my favourite webcomics is one that went for 150 pages and then finished. It could have gone forever. But instead, it was very satisfyingly concluded, long before it overstayed its welcome.
@pup_hime yeah, I was just thinking that – they're constantly changing up almost the entire cast of the show, and when a new producer/showrunner comes in they often change a lot of aesthetic things too
@lizardsquid i feel like doctor who also has a pretty satisfying conclusion with each regeneration and its kind of like a reboot
