ppl are so mad abt netflix canceling shows after 2 seasons and here i am wondering why youd watch something longer than 2 seasons *fortnite dances into my hidey hole*

im gonna keep digging myself this hole
i dont understand ppl who would prefer their fav shows keep going forever and keep going down in quality rather than end gracefully and wrap things up

Something like Doctor Who, where there isn't an overarching storyline, can run forever, and I'm fine with it.
But a show where there *is* a storyline? That needs to stop, and I'd prefer it to stop as early as possible.

While I later found out the author is a jerk, one of my favourite webcomics is one that went for 150 pages and then finished. It could have gone forever. But instead, it was very satisfyingly concluded, long before it overstayed its welcome.

@lizardsquid i feel like doctor who also has a pretty satisfying conclusion with each regeneration and its kind of like a reboot

@pup_hime yeah, I was just thinking that – they're constantly changing up almost the entire cast of the show, and when a new producer/showrunner comes in they often change a lot of aesthetic things too
