I have ... mixed feelings about leaving, tbh
on the one hand, fuck Texas politics, Texas weather, and the last half-year of keeping up a long distance marriage
on the other, Austin was the place that first let me start working out how to have a different gender, and the communities I came out into have shaped me so much for the better
this is the first town in my *life* where there are so many people (and spaces) that I’ll miss so much 💜
