I want a scifi thing where for the plot it's just 6-12 characters that largely hate each other and consider each other nemeses.

Like, most of them will have things they set out to do but the story is mostly just someone going "time to go find and fuck with [X]" and them having a big scifi confrontation in a cool scifi place. The sheer pointlessness of all the fighting needs to be in the background throughout.
