I spent some time tonight messing around in 31edo and 22edo, it was fun!
I have so much to learn, and so much musical space to explore with just these tunings ✨

I like how both these tunings are easy to get into in completely different ways.
31 has all the harmonies that you expect in European harmonic theory, but then you can slide out and find all these weird and wonderful things outside of that.
And 22 has this magical quality of being very much NOT able to approximate those familiar harmonies - almost every chord has no exact equivalent to 12edo - but so many of the new harmonies in 22 are consonant!
