@lizardsquid In Dungeons & Dragons and related tabletop roleplaying games, magic-using characters often have fewer hit points (and are therefore "squishier") than characters of the same level who fight with swords or bows.

In extreme cases of this, you get "glass cannons": characters with powerful spells who can be taken out with only one or two hits.
