I'm declaring Operation Meet New People a failure.
My goal since December has to meet people and make new friends. Despite early success in running a Mastodon instance in April/May, being unable to handle the admin overhead put an end to that part.
I tried to make a connection with a few people on here regardless after that, but we haven't really kept in regular contact. (1/2)
That sort of turned around last month, when I met a few nifty people that I really hit it off with. But now my involvement with that group is causing problems in other parts of my life, and I don't know what to do.
So for now I'm doing the only thing I can think of: back off, keep my social interactions to a minimum, until I can work out a new plan. (2/2)
