Today is the first time in seven months that I've left my partner's place and gone back to Seattle and not felt immediately like I was going into exile

Part of it, at least, is that I stayed for a while week this time, and at the end of that time I was actually ready to go back

It's too bad the therapist I was supposed to start seeing this week went on medical leave. This is what I wanted to talk to her about.
