@lizardsquid When I was in community college in the US, it was basically acceptable to show up with binders full of photocopied textbook pages, or bootleg ebooks. I had a few professors even say "it's cheaper to spend five or ten cents a page copying the chapters you need".

Another alternative is just find the pdf and read it on your pc/phone/device of choice

@pasqui023 @Zero_Democracy thankfully, I found the pdf for 2 of them and a third one is in the library, so I've got those for free - the last one is a workbook, so unfortunately there's no pdf
