In Warframe, "potato" refers to Orokin Catalysts and Orokin Reactors, which double the upgrade capacity on a weapon or warframe respectively
Invasions are time-limited faction missions for a certain reward depending on what faction you choose
Catalysts and reactors are both really really rare and mostly only come from random time-limited alerts or invasions

both times I tried it, I was on PS4 and I kinda got weirded out by the control scheme, so maybe it'll be better on PC!
