have you ever noticed that someone post a screenshot of text without providing an image description, preventing you from being able to read it? or maybe they posted a huge amount of text that just can't possibly be described with the image description feature?
simply tag @OCRbot in a direct reply to the image. it will download the image and scan it using tesseract OCR to output the text contained in the image!
because OCRbot runs on fedi.lynnesbian.space, it has a character limit of 65535, so even the longest images should work OK!
check the reply to this image to see it parsing the attached screenshot!

@schokopflaster zwischendurch ab und zu rühren. kochzeit ca 40min schätze ich. angebratenen Räuchertofu kann man auch noch gut reingeben. Pfeffern und Salzen nach geschmack. Dazu Kartoffeln - entweden extra gekocht, manchmal hab ich sie auch schon direkt mit dem Grünkohl gekocht. zusammen mit veganen Würstchen essen. NOM!

@schokopflaster quite simple: grünkohl von harten strunks befreien, waschen, grobzerkleinern, muss nicht viel, fällt eh in sich zusammen // halbes glas zwiebelschmalz mit 2 zerhackten Zwiebeln und 2 zerhacktem Knoblauch anbrutzeln, 1-2 zerschnittene Spacebars dazu, dann Grünkohl dazu. etwas anschmoren und dann mit gemüsebrühe ablöschen. kochen lassen .... zwischendurch mittelscharfen Senf (2 EL oder je nach geschmack) dazu ... kochen lassen ...

@schokopflaster bis ins letzte können, eher anwenden können. All das sind quasi-standards und ich denke, man sollte, bevor man sich mit Orchideen beschäftigt, diese können und nach alternativen dann Ausschau halten, wenn man erkennen kann, warum sich das ein oder andere an dieser oder jener Stelle eher lohnt.
@schokopflaster schreibt man quasi HTML mit Javascript drumrum. Es ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll, Javascript zu lernen. jQuery wiederum ist eher auf dem absteigenden Ast. Zu behäbig. Wird aber nach wie vor sehr oft eingesetzt. Bootstrap also responsiver unterbau ist auch ein quasi-standard. Die einzelnen Teilbereiche werden zusammengeklebt via preprocessors. Entweder mit gulp oder noch besser webpack. Die wiederum basieren auf node oder yarn. Node muss man mE nicht
