Orphan Black finale
Ahaha, I just went to tumblr, and the fandom is actually moved to tears by the fact that in this one last episode, nobody died and nothing terrible happened, it's not just me

What I don't like is that in this season, there was a lot of "uterus implies woman and vice versa". Yeeeah Tony would probably not have been easy to fit into this simplification. Also, sad that there are no trans women among the Castor ppl or anywhere else in the show? (But then again, good, bc the Castor ppl are probably all dead now.) This is all pretty cis apart from Tony, who appeared in one episode a few seasons ago.

I'd like MK to be part of that (I'm actually angry with the way she was killed). And Tony (like, he was mentioned to still be alive, but he's just Not In Their Lives anymore). And are all the Castors dead now? I don't remember.
…and S… But I like the way Sarah remembers her in this episode.

Ooooooomg. Well, that was SO worthy of this show. I cried a lot, mainly because S is still dead, well.
This is like a happily ever after, except, some things are Not Good, but some things are Really Good. And finally some Clone Club, it's been too long.
I really like how Sarah and Helena get this domestic life, but it's not a "getting a normative family after all" situation. Alison, Donnie and their kids are also part of that whole big family now, no longer nuclear.

Do you remember HyperCard? I do, it was like WOW!!! ...but slow and boring, black and white and no internet yet – but the basic concept was waaaay ahead of its time, like many Apple products then. That was 30 years ago and and I feel old today.

more "why, codecademy"
OH! Actually, you weren't supposed to code anything in that exercise, it was just giving an overview of the next thing that is actually step-by-step. You shpuld just click run without writing anything to get to that. Wellll. It didn't say that as clearly as it could have.
