did that actually happen? i still follow roughly the same people and i never look at the ptl so i have no idea what the predominant culture here is, my home tl is still pretty fiercely gay/furry/commies

I have no clue how to make friends on this site/connect with others, and I'm too sleepy to bother to make an effort to figure it out at the moment.

Having a warning/suggestion thing pop up for image uploads gently nudging the user to write a description for the pics also sounds good.

It'd be nice if that image alt text feature was higher on the TODO list.
I mean, I'm not personally affected but still. A proper #UI for the canonical way to give text descriptions for images is something every website should have.
