@Jules @Pinkshrimps no, the cheapest fake that we could find, I think :) i don't have any comparison because i've never really cooked outdoors before i think, but i liked it :>

@Jules aaah 😻 @Pinkshrimps and I have a similar one and I am so excited for when the weather is nice enough to go camping :3

But seriously the fact that some libraries buy some of the books that you suggest (unless you suggest things that the library can't get, like I just did) is one of my favourite things ever

…tfw you don't have money for that kind of thing but want to listen to books that nobody has made piratable yet m) To The Library Book Suggestion Form

Ooooh I'm always so happy when people recommend books that happen to also exist as audiobooks :>

(@lordminx recommended Winter Tide by Ruthanna Emrys here mastodon.social/@lordminx/4766)

You: "Why are you describing everything out loud?"
Me: "I played an adventure game this weekend." *turns to the fourth wall* "Point and click adventures are a great way to relax and I'm not sure why, in this era of chaos and dread, they remain such a niche after their downfall to more action-oriented titles in the 90s." *steals a stapler from your desk* *walks out of the room using a shortest path algorithm*

Snapped a few pics of Max being utterly adorable this morning,

while he was having a go at the ball that's just hanging down from a string

@slooploon there's also one instance called mst3k or something and I'm always like… a whole instance about top surgery? ah, oooh.

Ahaha, when faving, the German translation of Twidere says "Tweet gefällt" which could mean "the tweet is appreciated [by their majesty or smth, probably]" but also"tweet felled", like a tree

I imagine that Garth Nix was probably asked regularly whether he was reeeaally suuure that the Clayr only take men to their chambers, when they live in a glacier full of marvelous women, and he thought about it and was like, no, actually I'm not that sure, let me correct my mistakes. :3

(I feel like I have to quote this discovery into my "things that I don't like about the Abhorsen series" thread, because finally, in book 5, the Clayr are no longer straight computerfairi.es/@maunzikation)

I'd really like to use my cybre.space account as well, just because I like the aesthetics and it also looks like a nice place, and it seems like a waste only to have it as a fallback, but I'm reaaally bad at account splitting… I never know what to put on which, and I don't have any real topics that I talk about that would make sense to splinter off. So. Feeling a bit guilty for not tooting there, but also, no, I don't think I'm going to change that.
